Inspira Team Stories: Work & Travel Experience in Peru

Enrique spent three weeks on a work & travel experience in Peru, and he had the time of a lifetime! This is what he told us when he got back:

"Weekdays I woke up to a wonderful view of the city of Cusco, then my girlfriend and I would go for breakfast at the local market. The food in Peru is amazing; you can find tons of exotic fruits, great coffee, fresh seafood... all at extremely low prices. Evenings after work, we walked around Cusco; an old colonial city where you can see people in colorful traditional garments and baby alpacas on every corner. "

"On our free days, we took the time to go on some excursions; most of them to natural environments. The highlight of these was definitely our Salkantay excursion; a 5-day hike where you go through all types of sceneries; Huge mountains with snow (up to 5000 km high), lakes, jungle, thermal waters....the best part of this is the people you get to meet; people from all over the world which you share this beautiful experience, point of view and ideas; all this lets you form unforgettable bonds. People who travel, for me, are the best kind; they are very open-minded, fun, and full of life and wisdom."
